Shaping our Future is a planning framework for the 12 county central Ohio region that will identify core issues and create a plan of action focused on sustaining our economy, securing our competitive advantage, preserving our environment, modernizing our energy systems, enhancing our neighborhoods, and providing a robust transportation system with choices, to ensure a high quality of life for all us.

• collaborative approaches to regional issues;
• support coordination among local governments;
• and advise local governments and other stakeholders on how to implement recommended policies and programs included in the final regional plan.
